Brittany Finney

Brittany Finney graduated from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in 2015 as a 2-time state champion. In 2015, BCCHS finished the season ranked as #1 high school softball team in the Nation. Brittany is the 2015 Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Kansas, and is ranked #13 player in the Nation on Student Sports Top 100 list for the 2015 class. She currently holds records for homeruns, hits in a game, and homeruns in a game for the state of Kansas.

After high school, Brittany spent 1 year at the University of Oklahoma where she won the 2016 Women’s College World Series. She then transferred to Ole Miss where she was able to be a part of 3 NCAA Regional appearances and 2 NCAA Super Regional appearances. Brittany was also a part of the 2017 SEC tournament championship team, as well as 2 record breaking seasons at Ole Miss. While at Ole Miss Brittany held a record of 27-13 in the circle with a career 2.6 ERA, 14 complete games, and 195 strike outs. As a hitter she had 20 career doubles and 18 homeruns with a .324 on base percentage. After completing her final season, Brittany played her first professional season with Scrap Yard Fast Pitch.

Brittany graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2018, after just 3 years of college. Brittany then started graduate school, working towards masters degree. She will be finishing her graduate degree at WSU in Health Administration. Brittany has been giving lessons for over 7 years in Wichita and Oxford MS. She has traveled around the country running camps for Scrap Yard and Softball Factory. Her goals are to make each player fundamentally sound by implementing new drills that reinforce good mechanics. Brittany uses a variety of tools during each lesson to allow the athletes to see and feel the proper mechanics.
